One Star Kayaking Course

Venue : Singapore Dragon Boat Association (this is the head office side, pls do not go to the Kallang water sport centre side)
Date/time : 5-6 Jan 11 9am-4pm

Do bring along following items for the activity:
- one set of clothing (eg. T-shirt, shorts) for kayaking,
- footwear such as sandals or sport shoes (slippers are not suitable for the course),
- straps for those wearing spectacle,
- water bottle,
- sun screen lotion, basic toiletries, towel, and a plastic bag for wet clothing
- some money for lunch @ beach road army market
- completed indemnity form

Venture Meeting/ Test-Taking December 18th

Had a meeting with Sec 3s on the upcoming campfire in April ’11. Turns out we can’t have an STC hike, cos no one hikes on a plot of land the size of a football field. Managed to build the sections of the website, hopefully we can get it rolling by next year. Did test-taking at Xuan Ming’s house and the day ended.

Venture Retreat December 6th to 8th

Quite a productive retreat, we completed our agenda. We managed to plan out Q1 as well as carry out elections for the Venture Committee. Hopefully we can improve these meetings by making them more engaging and less boring. Perhaps a stay at a chalet and more games/activities?
